Greyhound Walks Show 2020

It is with great regret that we have taken the decision to cancel our show for this year.

The Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty of how we may socialise in the coming months have made it foolish to go ahead.

The show team are hoping that there may be an alternative show at some point this year so please watch our Facebook page and keep calling back to the website for news.

The aim of the Greyhound Walks Show has always been about enjoyment, fun, pride and promoting the wonderful breeds that are the greyhound and sighthound and most importantly giving our supporters and walkers a good day out to say thank you for being with us through the year.

With classes for retired greyhounds, lurchers and all other sighthounds plus the very popular fun dog show for all the other breeds We hope you can join us again in 2020.

Class list coming soon ….

Regretfully our show for 2020 is cancelled

How we cater for you at the show …

In addition to proving a friendly dog show in a large and roomy venue with catering vans to help quench your thirst and fill your tummies we also want to make sure you are comfortable during the day.

You can bring ringside sun shelters for your dogs and we will have people patrolling to make sure all is well.  We have trained canine first aiders available (and human first aiders!) should there be any emergencies.

If we have high temperatures this year we are mindful of the effects heat can have on all the dogs.  As ever if needed we will provide as much shade as possible and there will be an area for your own gazebos and large shelters. If you bring a gazebo or other large sun shelter one of our team will be along to ensure it is safe (as required by the country park); if you need any assistance please find one our hi-viz team members.

We also provide bins of water to wet down towels etc to keep dogs cool and safe if it does get hot.
